Paid Inclusion

Used to be, you could pay a few extra dollars and get listed on Yahoo! and others and that was the beginning of what is called 'paid inclusion.'  Many SEO and SEM firms believe now that most of these sites have dropped their programs that Paid Inclusion is becoming a ting of the past.  From a traditional standpoint, this is true.  From a practical standpoint, this is false.

Just like many companies you know that range from the large multi-national, to the large regional chain to the local food market, the Internet is the same and this fact is particularly true for Directories.  Many small Directories work very hard, diligently and honestly to have a presence on the Internet.  Once they have achieved some goal of searchable content, they will often start to charge for a listing.  Many of these Directories may be more regional or serve a particular market segment that works better for you than your more popular alternatives and some of these lesser known Directories still have millions of visitors.  They should not be ignored.  This is why we offer as part of our SEP service Paid Inclusion.

The impact of our Paid Inclusion program is to help gain you quality links.  You can gain those quality links more quickly at a higher cost, driven by the Directories and other Sites, or you can achieve some of those same links more slowly over time [e.g., several months].

Further, the amount of inbound links is dependent solely on your budget.  If you are in a highly competitive market, then you should plan to spend much more than the local grocer.  Nonetheless, each link counts and helps to build your reputation on the Internet.
