Search Engine Promotion [SEP] is different from SEO or SEM efforts.  SEO efforts focus on making the web site 'optimized' for search engines and usability.  SEM focuses solely on advertising.  SEP is more comprehensive and focuses on the various methods of promoting your web site.

 

As with everything, to be successful with SEP you first must set your goals.  What is it that you want to accomplish on the Internet for your organization?  How soon?  Based on the answer to some basic questions, we will be able to help you identify your SEP options and to what degree you should pursue them.

 

  Basic SEP Options

There are many promotional activities for your web presence - both online and offline.  However, your basic SEP options consist of online efforts.  Those efforts can include:

  Paid Inclusion

We define this term as a paid listing of your web site, that is normally a one-time fee, but never a PPC or CPM based fee.  As such, Paid Inclusion to us includes a wide number of web sites, including directories, that will list your site for a fee.  Depending on your needs and timeline, this approach may yield very healthy benefits for your organization.

 

  Other Party Links

OPL are links that can be obtained through effort, but do not necessarily cost an upfront fee.  We do not include purchased links [e.g., link farms] in this equation.  Instead, consider OPL as Non-Paid Inclusion links.  Similar to Paid Inclusion, depending on your goals and timeline, an effort to obtain OPL links may have a very notable impact on your web traffic.

 

  Organic Links

Organic Links come in two basic forms.  First are the preferred type of links - those links than other site grant you for having good content.  Those links normally grow slowly over time and are out of your and our control.  The second type of Organic Link is granted from a Third Party web site after a request for link has been made.  If the content is clean and strong, a sustained effort to inform, educate and therefore attract new links will have a lasting impact on your web site popularity.

 

  Press Releases

Online press releases can offer you a significant way to gain more notice of your site and inclusion into news outlets including those news outlets included in the major search engines.  We have professional copywriters that can help design and write effective PR pieces that will help you gain more and more traffic.

 

  Articles

Again, there a many methods of promotion.  There are perhaps too many to cover quickly.  However, we have developed, and are currently developing more, certain methods of promotion we will not divulge.  We absolutely reject questionable practices know often as 'Black Hat' techniques.  We do offer, very original and inventive methods of promoting your site that helps to set our services apart from others.  We just don't like to talk about it.

Paid Inclusion can come in different forms.  It used to be paying to get listed on  search engines like Yahoo!.  To us, Paid -In is another form of Search Engine Promotion - of getting your message out.  It is just a matter of how fast do you want to grow?
